Information Technology (IT) Manager

Job Description:

The IT Manager is responsible for desktop support, network systems, and infrastructure.


  • Support day-to-day IT operations, including resolving end-user and network issues, development of IT standards, planning and execution of projects
  • Ensure technical infrastructure and the company's network is function well at all times
  • Support systems security and optimization of the LAN network, including support of email (Exchange/Outlook) system
  • Administer and support various systems hardware; including servers, PCs, routers, and phone systems
  • Assist in documenting compliance efforts (SOX, etc.)


  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field
  • 10+ years IT experience, including at least 5 years of end-user support

Preferred Skills, Qualifications, or Technical Proficiencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of Windows, Macintosh, iOS and Android system setup, configuration and tuning, and automated update procedures
  • Strong knowledge of data network fundamentals
  • Experience with many varieties of network hardware
  • Technical knowledge of Linux and Windows servers
  • Troubleshoot, support, and maintain applications
  • Ability to work independently, plan, organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Possess a positive 'customer support' attitude, being responsive to customer requests
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with website development and maintenance a plus
